The Joosten Refoam shock pads are made of EPP (Expanded Polypropylene). This closed cell material has some unique features that make it the ideal shock absorbing underlay. EPP excels at absorbing energy, has a high impact resistance and is exceptionally strong in proportion to its weight. Additionally, it is resistant to many chemicals and provides thermal insulation. Moreover, EPP is fully recyclable. Renowned international studies show that EPP is the best material for shock pads.

The shock pads are manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. For example, no fluorinated or chlorinated hydrocarbons are used in the process. To guarantee the high quality of the shock pads, the production process is monitored according to the exceedingly strict DIN ISO16949 standards.

Our shock pads are produced in an environmentally friendly way. For example, no fluorinated or chlorinated hydrocarbons (FCHCs) are used. The shock pads consist of recycled EPP as much as possible. Both the new and recycled EPP come from controlled raw material flows, are clean and do not contain any environmentally unfriendly substances.
